@hans Be careful what you grant them. The voice they silence might be yours. Over here in the US we went through the Russian disinformation scare and later caught the censors labeling many Americans dissenting with the government as being Russians and disinformation. We Americans have a constitutional right to read Russian disinformation. Once you give government this power to censor what they want, don't expect them to ever give it up.
@Bernard i spent my first 38 years in the US and am still a citizen so, yeah, I know the story. But am now convinced the free-speech absolutism I used to subscribe to is a mistake.
Yes, we have to tread very carefully w.r.t. social regulation of speech. But we already do and must be open and deliberate about it.
